Aftercare
For a few hours post appointment, blot your brows with a clean tissue every 5-10 minutes to remove plasma. This will help minimize scabbing.
Gently wash your eyebrows once a day with water and an antibacterial soap like Cetaphil. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows. Gently rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA) or any exfoliants.
Apply a rice grain amount (for both brows) of aftercare balm 1-3 times a day with a cotton swab or a clean finger and apply it on the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Make sure the area is dry prior to applying.
- Avoid saunas, swimming and excesive excercise.
- Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds (may result in discoloration and premature fading).
- Do not get your brows wet outside of cleansing intructions.
- Do not apply brow makeup or any skincare with active ingredients on your brows while they are healing.
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase and on your back.
- Do no rub or pick at any scabbing or flaking. You can cause scarring or premature loss of pigment.
- No facials, botox, laser, or peels for minimum 4 weeks.
